Applying and Removing Filters

The IT Center Resource Library provides the ability for you to narrow the number of results displayed by using pre-defined filters. As a convenience, the resource library is pre-filtered by your language of preference according to your location setting on intel.com.

Applying a Filter

From the "Narrow Your Results" module, select from any available filter to narrow the results in the content list. There are several filter categories available to choose from. By default, the "System Type" category is expanded. To view the available filters for other categories, click on the category title.

Filters will be listed showing the available number of content items that match that filter. The available number of content items will be shown in parentheses following the filter title.

To apply a filter to the content list, simply click on the filter title. You'll notice that the filter selected is now displayed in the "Filters Applied" module and the content list is filtered accordingly. Select multiple filters to narrow the results even further. You may select up to 10 available filters to apply to the content list.

Removing a Filter

To remove a single filter, simply click on the filter title within the "Filters Applied" module. You may remove all filters by clicking "Remove All". When "Remove All" is clicked, all content available in the resource library will be available in the content list.

Filter Content using Keywords

You can narrow the results of the content list being displayed by entering one or more keywords into the keyword entry field located in the top-right corner of the content list. When the content list is filtered by a keyword, that keyword will appear in the "Filters Applied" module.

To remove a keyword filter, follow the steps for "Removing a Filter" above. The keyword filter uses an exact match to filter the content list.
